The Chamber is incorporated in NY State, the NY Capital Region Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (NYCRHCC) is a 501(c)(6) tax-exempt organization. The Hispanic Chamber will seek opportunities for its members to support their professional development, business planning, and networking, among other benefits. The Hispanic Chamber is interested in identifying Hispanic businesses in the Capital Region and inviting these to become members.

Mission

The New York Capital Region Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (NYCRHCC) promotes the economic growth and development of Hispanic, Latino/Latina/Latinx owned businesses or those focused/serving the Latinos community in the Capital Region. The NYCRHCC provides leadership, serves as a resource center and advocates for existing, newly formed and prospective/upcoming businesses. The Hispanic chamber community is represented by entrepreneurs from the Caribbean, Central America and South America, as well as local non-Hispanic entrepreneurs and businesses.

The New York Capital Region Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (NYCRHCC) was founded in September 2010 and is headquartered in the New State capital, Albany.  NYCRHCC was established to promote the economic growth and development of entrepreneurs and represents the interests of Hispanic-owned businesses in the Capital Region, who contribute to the upstate economic development. This included Hispanic as well as non-Hispanic, small businesses and large corporations.  Karen R. Ferrer- Muniz, Ann Husch, Lorena Diana,  Rolando Portocarrero, Olai Sam, and Jose Ramirez representing several community organizations became the founding members. These six Hispanic community leaders who already had a deep interest in building support and resources to the business community allocated time and money to provide opportunities for networking, legislative advocacy, access to capital, education and training programs.
