Volunteer Opportunities at Junior Achievement

Volunteer Opportunities at Junior Achievement

Junior Achievement of Northeastern NY is seeking volunteers to teach financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship skills in K-12 classrooms across the Capital Region. JA provides training and a comprehensive kit to give volunteers everything needed to deliver lessons and       activities. At JA we are intentional about connecting the students we serve to people who look like      them, sound like them, and have had similar experiences. It’s these experiences that are the "secret sauce’" to our volunteer impact.

Contact Joleen Hanlon at jhanlon@janeny.org or 518.783.4336 x. 12  with your preferred school district and grade level preference(s) (Elementary, Middle, or High) and we can find a classroom that’s a match for you!

Check out this video here about volunteering, and this award-winning video here that illustrates how equity is a key component of JA’s mission.
